THE INNOVATION JOURNEY
From Research to Real-World Impact
During his integrated PhD in Mechanical Engineering at Jadavpur University, Er. Amit Mitra developed the concept of a rare-earth monopole magnet-based fluid conditioner to improve fuel combustion efficiency. This led to the development of UNIMAG and a provisional patent for the invention.
His work evolved from research to entrepreneurship, with the founding of A.M. Pollution (Engg.) Research Pvt. Ltd. (now DNV Industries Pvt. Ltd.), resulting in real-world industrial applications and measurable efficiency gains across key sectors.
